In particular pedal go-karts and family bicycles
In 2005, Mr. Abdullah Abdullgany placed his first order with BERG Toys. To rent out some karts near a shopping centre in Kuwait, was his plan. An experiment - nothing more. But business was doing well and demanded expansion.
Thus Mr. Abdullahs company Quality Matic bought 300 karts in one order from BERG Toys in 2006. He had no trouble setting them out at rental point throughout Kuwait - at resorts on the coast, in attraction parks, and at several shopping centres.
The kart rental of Mr. Abdullah became more and more well-known. People knew him, knew his karts, family bicycles, tricycles, crazy bikes, a large part of BERG Toys-range. Also over the border the karts became a notion. Thus, in 2008, Quality Matic has started with five rental points in Dubai for which the company also bought 100 karts.
This brought real commercial success. But there is also a moral success. It works like this. Traffic in Kuwait is busy and dangerous, certainly in the city. Mr. Abdullah Abdullgany is concerned about that situation. During a conference regarding the subject, he presented his dream to local government, headmasters, traffic experts and people in authority. His dream allowed children to become familiar with traffic without the stress and danger through the use of his karts.
The dream became a plan, the plan became a project, and the project became Traffic park Kuwait. An asphalted area on which the traffic situation is imitated into details. With roundabouts, zebra crossings, and traffic signs and lights. Here, on a daily basis, 100 to 200 school children from 5 to 17 years old practice traffic theory. The success is great, not to mention the fun the kids have.
Mr. Abdullah travels around the country to get schools interested in his park. At the same time he tries to persuade local governments to free up space for new traffic parks. There is space enough in Kuwait.
