Buyers' Guide for Trampolines
Most trampolines are circular and consist of a frame; protective edge, springs and a jumping mat. But nevertheless not all trampolines are alike! The best trampoline consists of the optimum combination of price, safety and durability. To be able to make the right choice, you should think about the following important points before making your purchase:
- Who is the trampoline intended for and what specifications must it meet?
- Can the trampoline be supervised when it is being used by young and inexperienced jumpers?
- Is there adequate room available for positioning the trampoline safely? Above the trampoline there should be an available jumping height of at least 7 m measured from the ground and a free space of at least 1.5 m around the outside edge of the trampoline. If a safety net is used then there need only be 0.5 m of free space around the outside edge of the trampoline.
- Can the trampoline be positioned on soft and even ground?
Once you can answer these questions you can you can then look for the trampoline that best meets all your requirements.
