At BERG Toys we think it's important that kids have adventures and learn to explore the world around them. That's how I, Henk van den Berg, grew up. As a 16-year-old teenager I dreamed of racing cars, just like lots of other kids. And that's how I got the idea to build one for myself. I set aside as many hours as possible to saw and weld materials. After a lot of hard work in the barn on my parents' farm, I came up with my very first go-kart. That's where my dream turned into reality!
When I played with it I quickly realised that a lot of other kids found my go-kart such fun that they couldn't leave it alone. So I built two more and that's how BERG Toys got off the ground.
More than twenty years later BERG has grown into a worldwide market leader in the manufacture of go-karts. Our go-karts and trampolines are now sold in over forty countries. Thanks to the enthusiastic feedback we received we wanted to offer more outdoor toys and we began to produce trampolines, balanzbikes, scooters, carts and many other outdoor toys.
Today we are one of the most important players in the field of outdoor toys and kids all over the world enjoy playing with BERG Toys.
